Submissions are being accepted for 2010... but there are a few twists this year.
Do you have something you'd like to contribute? Something the world might be interested in, something that might help others, the world, our society... a new engineering solution to something or a new piece of software or a new DNA code or a better wheel or a new mousetrap?? Would you like to have an hour at the festival to do whatever it might be that you might want to do? Use anyone you can think of to work with you, consult with whomever, collaborate with anyone who you think can assist you... and create something wonderfu!
We are not going to review any proposals or make any value judgements based on some manufactured criteria. Use your own judgement, think the idea and the project through carefully, try not to spend more than 40 hours on it in advance, assemble you project on site in around an hour... and then present it.
We're working out the specific details... at the end of the festival, after the awards ceremony, you'll get to make a presentation on your project to everyone. And then we'll give it away free to someone or some organization or entity that can use it. Contact the Festival if you'd like to participate - there are three spots available.
