OK, does anyone know this guy? 4 years ago we ran the program in Farragut Square on Saturday evenings and this is a photo of the guy who won for best dressed... but we have never been able to find him to give him his prize. After he won, someone from the GIFF ran off to get him all the stuff and when she came back he was gone.... like a whisper in the wind... vanished....

If someone knows this person, please call the Georgetown FIlm Festival and help us make him well and happy... we still have a bunch of stuff - gift certificates, freebies, goodies - for him.

Anyway, this should give you an idea of what the Best Dressed in The West Contest is all about... These wonderful films have so many great actors and characters that you should have very few difficulties choosing someone to portray... and if that fails you just whip something up in the tack room and be creative. Mounted Park Police are NOT eligible to enter this year because they already have horses so it's a bit unfair for the rest of us... Oh, what the hay... c'mon down, we'll show the love... but bring the horse, must bring horse...

For all you over-achievers looking for extra credit - and you know this is the town for that - be prepared to recite a few lines form your fav scene... and you can have your pals do a skit with you too if you need theatrical "duchampe" to carry it off... remember that the audience will vote so we're ok with you loading the lawn up with your buds... but above all be original, have fun and be prepared to explain your get-up and don't worry... creativity, no fear, reckless abandon.... it's all good!
